Supporting Existing Businesses

A total of 15 existing beneficiaries which were formerly supported through Socio-Project 1’s Grant Scheme called “Strengthening the capacities of microenterprises and start – up businesses” – continuation – were again supported in Socio-Project 2.

These 15 existing businesses were selected because they have proven successful results to be additionally strengthened and supported through Socio-Projec 2. These Grants were distributed as a part of the Project’s 1^st Component which is Supporting Existing Businesses.

From the total of 15 beneficiaries which were supported through the 1^st Component:

• 8 are Existing Start-Ups which have proven great results and are foreseen to be additionally strengthened. They will also have to permanently employ 1 additional person, each.
• And of them 7 were Existing Micro-Enterprises which have shown greatest results and have the capacity for additional growth. These on the other hand, are enterprises that provide goods and services which replace those from import. Moreover they will have to employ 2 additional persons, each.
